I have been working on my two magazine covers, ensuring that they will be pleasing to my target audience. During the four month in which I have been developing my coursework, i have organised two photo shoots, created two front covers, and two contents pages. my first photo-shoot was for my magazine target at girls, i contacted my models Alex and Suria and shared my ideas for what i wanted to do. after a pleasing response for my plan, on the cover of the magazine i decided to keep Alex in dark black clothing with a pink/purple top, contrasting with the background. after shooting multiple angles of my models, i cut the photos down to the best ones that i wished to use. i was then able to focus on the editing- i done this through photoshop. i took a similar approach when doing my second cover, however this time decided to use both my models- Joe and Regan on the cover, as they both have juxtaposing heritage with enables me to appease my target audience of 16-25 years old's, and also ensuring that an audience of any demographic would be interested in what my fashion magazine has to offer. after shooting numerous angles i decided to use various shots on my cover. i choose to use two medium shots as well a medium close up of their trainers, as when researching men's fashion magazines i noticed they often zoom in on a particular aspect and in my case it is their shoes, as my target audience and today's young society focus a lot on shoes.
